Offering a distinctive French wine selection in Guam, France Wines, Etc. imports high-quality French wines from exceptional family-owned chateaux, prioritizing quality and sustainability over quantity and commercialization.
At France Wines Etc., quality assurance is essential. Our wines are shipped directly from France in 100% temperature-controlled refrigerated containers to Guam's specially designed wine cellars. All wines are stored at 55 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure you receive the highest product quality.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Céline San Nicolas is a French native who has lived in Guam 20+ years. Céline has years of experience in the luxury hotel industry both in France and the United States, including food and beverage management for a large international hotel chain. In an effort to bypass the more commercial wineries, Céline travels home to France to seek the “hidden gem” wineries aiming to create a most unique wine selection while considering the local budgets, tastes and demand.
THE WINE SELECTION
France wines, Etc. crafted a unique selection of wines which represent the six main French wine regions: Champagne, Burgundy, Loire Valley, Côtes du Rhône, Provence, Bordeaux, and Beaujolais. It is a complete palette from low budget, delightful everyday wines to the very best France has to offer, where each bottle perfectly expresses the terroir it comes from.
With a desire to create a top quality and very unique supply of French wines, we have travelled and searched to find these special wineries that meet our criteria of excellence and pride.
The wineries selected are all multi-generational family owned, with extensive experience and a true passion for their winemaking art. They all have a uniquely rich history such as can only be found in Europe. Some of the families started working their land in the 1500’s and are experts in their field! These wineries have chosen not to partake in the more commercial aspects of winemaking, prioritizing quality over quantity. Their main desire is for their wines to be discovered, enjoyed and create unique experiences and memories, whether it is a pricier high-end vintage or an everyday bottle.
