WINEMAKING - Hand-harvested grapes, hand-sorted on a vibrating table - 100% de-stemmed, placed into stainless steel fermentation vats by gravity flow - Weeks-long maceration, minimal pumping-over and punchingdown - Pressing in pneumatic press - Placed in French oak barrels for aging on fine lees - Light filtration HARVEST September 5, 2018 AGING 18 months in 20% new French oak barrels PRODUCTION 1,504 bottles TASTING With its deep purple hue, our Corton Grand Cru 2018 is a Pinot Noir that is fresh, floral, and bursting with energy. The intense nose reveals aromas of violet, fresh rose, morello cherry, cinnamon and clove. The palate is ample, rich and delicate. The tannins are velvety and even show a slight sweetness specific to the vintage. Certainly cut for aging, it would be best to wait a few years before fully enjoying this Grand Cru, even if it is delectable today.
