Dominating to the east the medieval city of Saint-Émilion, just 500m away, the vineyard of Vieux Sarpe sitting on a beautiful limestone plateau is situated between Trottevieille, the 1st Grand Cru Classé and Haut Sarpe, which is itself Grand Cru Classé.

Soil type

Clay-limestone on a marine limestone base with asters, which outcrops in places at the top of the hillside.

  • 2014 - A GOOD VINTAGE RICH AND SMOOTHBeautiful aromatic freshness. The attack in the mouth is balanced.
